Tyler was born on 8/28/09 @ 7:46pm. I went in on that Friday morning at 7:00am to be induced. I was only about 1cm dilated so I figured it would be a long day. They started me on pitocin around 9:00am and I started getting mild contractions a few hours later and it wasn't too bad. Kelly thought he was being helpful by telling me when I was having a contraction and I was like umm you do not have to tell me..I can feel them!! LOL Well I went to about 4:00 until I asked for some pain meds(the contractions were starting to get unbarable), they gave me some goood stuff. The nurse said it would feel like I had about 4 tequila shots to the head and oh man did it!! That helped me for a couple hours then I got the epidural around 6:00pm which wasn't a great experience, the guy who gave it to me was not very nice he kept telling me to move this way and that way and I was having a very painful contraction and he would not let me get thru it first...men, they just don't understand what we go thru!! LOL Well I got through that and then Tyler's heartbeat kept getting low so the Dr. checked me and put something on his head to monitor his heartbeat better and found out he was in distress, I was about 6cm dilated and he was trying to come out! The cord was wrapped around his neck and everytime I had a contraction he would try to come out and the cord would get tight, so I had to get an emergency c-section, I was terrified!! I was about half out of it at this point though, the c-section was not all that bad, Kelly said he saw all my insides which is grose!! LOL Well after all that Tyler was born @ 7:46pm and was 5lbs 6oz and 18 in, he came out screaming!!! He was sooo beautiful! Im sooo glad my Dr noticed that something wont right and saved my little man!! So now we are both doing great and I love being a Mommy!!! I would do it all over again, it was all worth it!! :)
